They say good things come to those who wait, and that's exactly what's happening to Princess Anne (Va.) athlete, Audrex Harris.
Harris, a 5-foot-11, 180 pound athlete has witnessed his recruitment skyrocket over the last several weeks. With schools from all across the east and south checking in, Harris will soon be looking to learn more about his list of suitors.
The only school thus far to offer Harris is James Madison University, but that's likely to change soon.
Virginia Tech, Missouri, Georgia, North Carolina, Pitt, Syracuse and West Virginia have recently been checking in on the speedster.
Even though the Mountaineers haven't yet offered a scholarship, Harris already has them as one of his favorites.
"I'm interested in WVU. Its actually my favorite school and probably going to be in my top when it comes to picking my school."
"It seems like the school has a good atmosphere, it seems like it would be a great place to go to college and play football."
Although he hasn't visited Morgantown yet, that's something he hopes to do soon.
"I didn't get to visit WVU yet, I'm hoping to visit them now, with them being in the Big 12 now, it would be a lot of fun to see them play."
One reason Harris' recruitment has taken off is because of his versatility. While some schools are recruiting him as a running back, others view in their defensive secondary.
"Some schools are recruiting me as a running back, but most schools are recruiting me as a corner. They like how physical I am, and my ability to come up, they say its rare in corners these days. They also like my coverage ability, being that only gave up 1 touchdown in man coverage."
He also recorded 50 tackles last season.
