Osbourn Park (Va.) athlete, Damian Nicholson, hasn't made his love for West Virginia University much of a secret. If you follow the talented recruit on twitter, you'd know the Mountaineers are one of the programs catching his attention.
On Saturday, Nicholson visited Morgantown and was able to go more in-depth on what the 'Eers have to offer. Following his visit, he took the time to update us on his trip with a Q&A session. Here's what he had to say --
EI. First impression of the state?
DN. BEAUTIFUL! A lot of mountains.
EI. First impression once you arrived?
DN. GREAT campus! Roads were a little small but its manageable.
EI. Who is your lead recruiter, and how did it go?
DN. Coach Roberts, and it went well. I saw what I needed to see to make it my top school.
EI. What impressed you about the campus? What stood out?
DN. The facilities! Everything was close together a lot of food places to eat. I like to EAT!
EI. When will you return?
DN. Early August for a practice
EI. What are your plans now?
DN. See if I get anymore offers and staying in the weight room .... hopefully winning a state ring before I leave for college
EI. Did you have the opportunity to meet any fans or players?
DN. Met a couple fans. I stopped at a pit stop and I was leaving the restroom a guy came up to me and said "honey badger have a good trip" it was great. I saw a couple players working out & stuff like that.
