Is it football season yet?
Just a couple days ago, MSNsportsNet released a highlight video outlining the 2012 edition of the West Virginia University football team, and their upcoming battles against their new conference mates.
The Mountaineers enter their first season in the Big 12 Conference with high expectations. They return eight offensive starters, including quarterback Geno Smith and wide receivers Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey. On defense, the 'Eers will not only feature a new scheme, but have an all new staff.
The Mountaineers will put an end to spring practice on Saturday with the annual Gold-Blue Spring Game. The 2012 season will officially kickoff on September 1 against in-state rival, Marshall.
